Highway 8
The highway from Sonoyta to Rocky Point is called Mexico Highway 8. It is a nice, wide two-lane, easy to travel highway. It is clearly marked with emergency shoulders along most of it and plenty of places to pass.
Watch out for slow moving vehicles and livestock.
